Mysterious Soldiers.....Australian National Clan Wars Forest Champions 2009.....

Congratulations to Captain Snyper and his clan Mysterious Soldiers. Australian National Clan Wars Forest Champions & Runners Up in the Australian National Urban Clan Wars.

The second days competition was played throughout the QLD bush. Two seperate fields were used. Both fields included a deep creek running through the bush and bridge over the creek to secure. The mission was to hold the bridge at each designated minute marks of the 10min game (being 2min, 4min, 6min, 8min & 10min).

With a dense bush layout and players camoflauged to the max the games were thrilling and full of suspense.

By the end of the games the standings were as follows;
Group 1.
1st F.E.A.R. - VIC Laser Strike
Equal 2nd - Mysterious Soldiers - VIC Laser Strike
Equal 2nd - Necromongers - QLD Battlefield Sports

Group 2.
1st 7th Death - VIC Laser Strike
2nd Bad Company - QLD Darling Downs

As the finals series fixtures ran 1st Group1 VS 2nd Group2 & 1st Group2 VS 2nd Group1. An elimiation match to qualify for the finals was needed to be played out between Mysterious Soldiers and Necromongers.

With so much worth playing for on the line Mysterious Soldiers lifted their game and overcome the home team moving them into the finals series.

The first finals series game was played out between F.E.A.R and Bad Company. This game was intense. It went right down to the last second when Bad Company stormed home to draw the match 20-20. Leaving the crowd wanting more. With no re-spawns on offer for the rematch it was a case of eliminate the enemy or be eliminated from the competition. In a action packed start Bad Company took an early lead with Merlin being disqualified for overstepping the boundry. However F.E.A.R as they did the day before raised their game and turned it all around. Winning the match and earning a spot in the grand final.

The second final saw Mysterious Soldiers battle it out with 7th Death. In a tough and exciting game the clans went hit for hit and kill for kill. Only 20points could seperate the two clans by the end of the match. With the bridge secured Mysterious Soldiers held off a defiant late charge from 7th Death and secured themselves a spot in the grand final.

For the second day running it was VIC VS VIC in the grand final. Again F.E.A.R. VS Mysterious Soldiers. With darkness falling and so much to play for Mysterious Soldiers wanted this one. Mysterious played really hard and fierce turning the tables around on F.E.A.R from their loss in the previous day's national urban grand final. With the bridge secured for all of the first three marks of the match and with the game out of reach for F.E.A.R. The whistle was blown early and Mysterious Soldiers crowned champions.

Congratulations Weapon, Mad Dog, Megatron, Captain Snyper & Dragon (pictured above from left to right)....

F.E.A.R.....Australian National Clan Wars Urban Champions 2009....

Congratulations to Captain Blackberry and his clan F.E.A.R. Australian National Champions for the Urban Clan Wars & Runners Up in the Australian National Forest Clan Wars.

Five clans from VIC Laser Strike (Homeboys, 7th Death, F.E.A.R, Mysterious Soldiers & Roughnecks) flew into the Gold Coast to compete over the queens birthday weekend for the chance to be crowned the next Australian champions. There was a total of 12 clans competing form all around Australia.

The first day's competition was played indoors around a massive urban inflatable layout. A total of 77 inflatables were used to create an urban city. Including rooms, bunkers, coridoors, walls, doors, windows & walls.

After a day of fast, hard fought action four clans were left to battle it out in the finals series. The standings were as follows;
1st - Mysterious Soldiers - VIC Laser Strike
2nd - 7th Death - VIC Laser Strike
3rd - F.E.A.R - VIC Laser Strike
4th - Necromongers - QLD Battlefield Sports

The finals series saw 1st VS 4th and 2nd VS 3rd. Three games were played for the finals series, elimination, centre room & three centre room. Points were totalled from all three with the winner moving into the Grand Final.

In a finals series that was very close and exciting the F.E.A.R boys managed to overcome 7th Death and move into the Grand Final. Mysterious Soldiers also overpowered Necomongers seeing them into the urban Grand Final where it was left as VIC VS VIC!

The 3rd Place Final was too close to call....In fact by the end of the three finals series games nothing could seperate 7th Death & Necromongers. They were dead level on scoring meaning that both 7th Death from VIC and Necromongers from QLD were equal 3rd place getters.

The all VIC Grand Final was fought out between F.E.A.R & Mysterious Soldiers. F.E.A.R would not let this opportunity slip away. In an outstanding effort the F.E.A.R boys eliminated Mysterious Soldiers very early on in all of the matches. Leaving the Mysterious Soldiers out number and out classed. F.E.A.R went on winning the match 225 - 25. Taking out the title of Australian National Urban Clan Wars Champions.

Congratulations Merlin, Little John, Wacko Jacko, Freeza, & Captain Blackberry (pictured above from left to right).

Their first day saw them compete around an urban city inflatable layout. 7thDeath finishing in 2nd place overall only 15 points behind the leaders.
