Australian National Clan Wars - Coming To Melbourne - November 15, 2008

In November this year Laser Strike will be hosting the Australian National Clan Wars. A total of 20 teams, 11 teams from interstate as far north as Cairns, will battle it out for the chance to become Australia's next champions. The national's will be held over two days and over two different battlefields. One being the inflatable urban battlefield layout (elimination, bulldog, centre-flag and centre-room missions) the other being a deathmatch game in the jungle with limited re-spawns.

Last year's nationals saw Captain Angel and her team Legion Of Felix from QLD crowned Australia's champions. Unfortunate for our boys 7th Death, (champions of summer state league 07) finishing in runners up after completing the tournament undefeated and earning top spot.

This year Victoria's hope's for success rest with Captain Snyper and his men Mysterious Soldiers.

After claiming the championship in state league summer 08 and now going back to back winning winter 08 also.! Mysterious Soldiers have now successfully earnt their stripes as the next Victorian Representative Clan (VRC).

They have now gone back to back to back in state league, plus winning the championship in B-League the season before that. Not bad, four in a row. Plus wait, there's more... They also just conquered and took home the challenge cup, whereby twelve clans competed in an all in 3hr non-stop advanced game. But wait, there's more... Yes, but how could a great team only get better? By winning our annual, huge 20 teams, 6-A Side tournament last November. That's right they also won that one too.

So to sum up, 1 x B-League Championship + 3 x State League Championship, + 1 x 6-A Side Tournament & 1 x Challenge Cup. Good job Mysterious Soldiers, all that is left now is to take over and conquer Australia in November.

Victoria's hopes are in good hands that's for sure. For now the world must now wait and see.. Who will be crowned the champions in 2008??
