Clan Wars...What is it?
For those of you who have ever dreamt of doing Laser Strike as a sport..... Now you really can!
Clan wars is a 5-A Side League which runs twice a year. The summer league runs from early February until April and the winter league from late August until late October. Clan Wars is open to everyone and anyone.
The leagues are run on every Monday (C - League), Tuesday (B-League) and Wednesday (State League) evenings for 8 weeks plus an extra 2 weeks for the finals. There are only 8 teams in each league who battle it out week to week for the title to be crowned the champions of clan wars in their respective leagues.
However, for this coming winter 09 season games will run on Saturday B-League and Sunday State League.
C-League Clan Wars will not be running or offered this winter 09 season due to limited light and time restraints. C-League will be back for summer 2010 when the competition moves back to mid-week games.
Games slots are a total of 50 minutes each. All Clan wars league games consist of 2 games x 20 minutes each (40 minutes game time total). Plus 5 minutes break at half-time. The game timeslots for winter are 3.40pm & 4.30pm. The cost for clan wars is $70 per clan per night.
That's only $14 per person for a clan of 5 players.
